Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Indians' bullpen allowed five runs in the ninth inning and the Braves overcame a 7-0 deficit to win 8-7 on Saturday night. Cleveland got off to a quick start after winning 8-4 in the afternoon contest, but their bullpen couldn't finish the deal.

All four of the Indians pitchers struggled in the ninth inning. First, Oliver Perez allowed a single. Then, Adam Cimber gave up a hit and walked three. Tyler Olson came on, only to issue a walk. Cody Anderson came in and allowed the game-winning two-run single to Ronald Acuna Jr.

Closer Brad Hand wasn't available in the second game because he pitched during game one.

The Indians scored all seven of their runs in the first two innings. Francisco Lindor played in his first game of the season, finishing 1-for-5. Jose Ramirez had two hits on the day, including a two RBI single.

Trevor Bauer got the start for the Indians, allowing two runs and three hits in 6.1 innings. He finished with a season-high 10 strikeouts and issued two walks. It was the 20th time in his career that he's recorded double-digit strikeouts in a game.

The Indians finished with 19 hits and 15 runs in the doubleheader. They fall to 12-8 on the year.

Up Next – The Indians look to win the series tomorrow night in front of a national audience. Shane Bieber is on the mound for the Tribe. Max Fried will get the start for Atlanta. Both pitchers are 2-0 this season. The game will air on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball with coverage starting at 7 p.m.
