Browns sign Nick Chubb, 35th pick in 2018 NFL Draft

Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – Nick Chubb has signed his rookie contract Monday leaving just 2 draft picks unsigned for the Cleveland Browns.

First round picks Baker Mayfield, the No. 1 overall pick, and Denzel Ward, selected fourth overall, are the lone members of the 9-man draft class yet to sign.

Chubb was selected 35th overall in the NFL Draft out of Georgia where he started 40 of 47 games for the Bulldogs and finished ranked second in school history in rushing yards.

Chubb, who bounced back from a devestating knee injury in 2015, totaled 4,769 yards on 758 carries with 44 touchdowns. He also had 31 catches for 361 yards and 4 more TDs. He had 24 100-yard rushing games and three 200-yard performances.
