Channing Frye is officially coming back to Cleveland.

On Thursday, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced the re-signing of Frye on a reported one-year, veteran's minimum salary contract. Frye was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline last season along with Isaiah Thomas for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance, Jr.

Frye averaged 7.5 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Cavs in the better part of 3 seasons in Cleveland.

In returning to Cleveland, the 35-year-old Frye will likely act as more of a veteran leader for chemistry in the locker room than a presence on the court.

Based on his Snapchat and Instagram stories, it didn't take long for Frye to get reacquainted back in The Land, poking fun at fellow forward and friend Kevin Love in the Cavs locker room.

Such a goofball.

Welcome back, Channing!
