Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Cavaliers signed center Kendrick Perkins for the remainder of the season.

The addition of Perkins, who is eligible to play in the playoffs, had been rumored for weeks.

Perkins, who sat out the 2016-17 season, spent part of the 2014-15 season with the Cavs, including the playoffs. He was waived by Cleveland prior to the season which is how he ended up in Canton.
