Berea, OH (92.3 The Fan) – Cornerback Denzel Ward signed his rookie contract Wednesday.

General manager John Dorsey announced at the outset of his pre-training camp press conference with head coach Hue Jackson that the team had come to terms with Ward.

The deal is worth just over $29 million and includes a signing bonus of just over $19 million.

Ward, a Nordonia high school product who starred at Ohio State, is the final member of the draft class to complete his rookie deal. Baker Mayfield, selected first overall, signed Tuesday night.

Players reported Wednesday morning and the Browns will take the field Thursday afternoon for their first practice of camp.
