Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns tendered receiver Rashard Higgins and two other exclusive rights free agents on Friday.

Exclusive rights free agents defensive tackle Trevon Coley and defensive back Jermaine Whitehead were also tendered on Friday the team announced.

The Browns selected Higgins in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and he has caught 72 passes for 961 yards and six touchdowns in – games played.

Coley, who was originally signed by Baltimore in 2016 as an undrafted free agent, was signed by the Browns to the practice squad in Dec. 2016 and added to the roster after the season. He has started 29 games, including 14 in 2018, over the past two seasons in Cleveland, compiling 80 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a safety.

Whitehead, whom the Browns claimed via waivers from the Packers midway through last season, played exclusively on special teams in seven games last season.

Earlier in the day Dorsey agreed to send right guard Kevin Zeitler and the No. 155 pick in the 2018 draft to the New York Giants for defensive end Olivier Vernon and the No. 142 pick.
