In his first regular season game as an NFL quarterback, number 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield has pulled the Browns even with the New York Jets at 14-14 with 42 seconds left in the third quarter.

Two field goals, a touchdown run from Carlos Hyde and a second chance to convert a 2-point conversion have the Browns offense in rhythm for the first time all game.

Hyde's touchdown was set up by this laser from Mayfield to Jarvis Landry.

Carlos Hyde, who turns 28 years old today and who's wife is expected to deliver their child this evening, capped off the drive with this one yard run.

With the Browns trailing 14-12, Cleveland failed a game-tying 2-point conversion. But off-setting penalties gave the Browns a second chance. And Todd Haley called the "Baker special."

Baker Mayfield injected a noticeable energy into the Browns offense and into First Energy Stadium when he emerged late in the first half. And the the game is tied late in the third quarter.

Mayfield came for starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who was ruled out while being evaluated for a concussion.
