Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Indians have activated shortstop Francisco Lindor. The three-time All-Star missed the first 18 games of the season with a sprained ankle.

Lindor, 25, expected to return this weekend. The Indians play a doubleheader against Atlanta on Saturday. Lindor isn't in the lineup for game one.

They designated Hanley Ramirez for assignment. The 35-year-old posted a .184 batting average (9-for-49) with two home runs and eight RBI this season.
