Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Indians announced their 2019 schedule on Wednesday, and will open what will likely be their third straight defense of the American League Central Division championship in Minnesota, in wintry conditions.

The Indians open their season March 28 at the roofless Target Field in Minneapolis against the Twins before an off-day, finishing the opening series March 30 and 31.

The Progressive Field opener follows on April 1 against the Chicago White Sox, with the opening home stand wrapping up April 7 against the Toronto Blue Jays.

2019 All-Star Week will span July 5 through 9, culminating with the 90th Midsummer Classic at Progressive Field. The Major League Baseball All-Star break will run July 8 through 11.
