It did not take long for Josh Donaldson to bring the rain in the Cleveland Indians organization.

The 32-year-old walked in his first plate appearance during his rehab appearance with the Columbus Clippers before coming up in the 4th with the bases loaded.

Donaldson finished the day 1-for-2 with the walk and the slam. Indians Manager Terry Francona said the former AL MVP would be back with the Major League club on Tuesday to work out during a minor league off day, then will head off to Double-A Akron for their Eastern League Playoffs opener on Wednesday at 6:35.

Tickets for Wednesday and Thursday's games are on sale HERE.

At the moment, Donaldson is expected to play in both games, though that has not been confirmed.
