Indians announce playoff ticket lottery begins Wednesday

The Indians are 88-63 on the year, a half game behind the Rays in the wild card race

CLEVELAND, OH – The Indians enter Wednesday’s game against the Tigers a half game behind Tampa Bay in the American League wild card race.

The club announced fans can register online for a lottery and the potential opportunity to purchase tickets if the Tribe make a playoff run.

Fans interested in entering the 2019 Cleveland Indians postseason ticket lottery can complete the registration form at beginning Wednesday, September 18 at 11 a.m. Tickets for all 2019 playoff games at Progressive Field will go on sale at a later date.

Each potential postseason series will have a registration cut-off date:

· Wild Card Game – September 24 at 9:59 a.m. ET

· Division Series – September 24 at 9:59 a.m. ET

· Championship Series – October 8 at 9:59 a.m. ET

· World Series – October 15 at 9:59 a.m. ET

Fans selected will be notified via email and given a maximum number they are allowed to purchase per offer, subject to availability. Being selected does not guarantee a right to purchase postseason tickets, according to the Indians.

Fans can also guarantee access to 2019 postseason games by purchasing season tickets for 2020. Those who purchase a full, half or quarter season plan by Sunday, September 23 will receive advanced access to purchase tickets to all playoff games.
