It appears as though Cleveland Cavaliers rookie point guard Collin Sexton has already impressed some of his fellow NBA peers.

The NBA released its annual rookie survey on Tuesday, and Sexton earned 18% of the vote when his fellow first-year players were asked "Who will be the 2018-19 KIA Rookie of the Year?"

Sexton tied with number one overall pick, DeAndre Ayton, of the Phoenix Suns.

Here are the results:

1. DeAndre Ayton, Phoenix -- 18%

Collin Sexton, Cleveland -- 18%

3. Luka Doncic, Dallas -- 9%

Kevin Knox, New York -- 9%

5. Mohamed Bamba, Orlando -- 6%

Devonte' Graham, Charlotte -- 6%

Michael Porter Jr., Denver -- 6%

Trae Young, Atlanta -- 6%

Sexton played in all seven Cavs summer league games and averaged 19.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 28.7 minutes.

The Cavs rookie PG also tied for third-place on "best career," tied for fifth on "best defender" and tied for third on "best playmaker."

Again, these results are based off fellow rookies taking a survey.

Players were asked not to vote for themselves, college teammates or NBA teammates. (Some still did, and those votes were discounted.)
