Independence, OH (92.3 The Fan) – Collin Sexton apparently already has his jersey number picked out with the Cavaliers.

No. 2.

Sexton told Fox Sports Ohio and Cavs broadcaster Fred McCleod shortly after the Cavs picked him eighth overall Thursday night he wants to wear 2 in Cleveland.

Sexton, whose favorite player is Kobe Bryant, hopes that LeBron James remains with the Cavs so they can play together in Cleveland.

Considering Sexton came as a result of Kyrie Irving’s trade to Boston last August, it’s almost fitting, if not ironic, that 2 would be his number.
