Cavaliers verteran big man Kendrick Perkins got into it with hip-hop and rap star Drake on Tuesday night in Toronto, and now we have an explanation about what happened.

During Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals between the Cavs and Raptors, going into halftime, Drake, the Raptors most recognizable fan, tried to start some beef with Perkins.

Things continued after the Cavs took down the Raptors 113-112 in overtime to steal Game 1 on the road.

Video of the exchange post-game was captured by ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

And you'll be surprised on what exactly he said...

Perkins, who was signed late in the season, hasn't seen the floor at all for the Cavs in the postseason. So he wasn't going to talk to the media after the game.

Luckily for us Cavs (and NBA) fans, some top notch reporters did some digging and found out exactly why Drake and Perkins were going at it.

So, there is your explanation! Game 2 is in Toronto on Thursday at 6 pm.
