Cleveland, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns season opener Sept. 8 against the Tennessee Titans is getting prime treatment by CBS.

The network announced Tuesday that they will be sending their top broadcast team – Jim Nantz, analyst Tony Romo and sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson to Cleveland for Week 1.

The Browns have four prime time games on the 2019 schedule – Week 2 at the New York Jets Sept. 16 (ESPN’s Monday Night Football), Week 3 at home against the Los Angeles Rams Sept. 22 (NBC’s Sunday Night Football), Week 5 at San Francisco Oct. 7 (ESPN’s Monday Night Football) and Nov 14 against the Steelers at home (Fox Thursday Night Football).

Nantz’s broadcast team, which rarely were assigned to Browns games in years past, will see plenty of Cleveland on their schedule this season.

They’ll likely call the Oct. 27 trip to New England and could be assigned to the following game in in Denver Nov. 3 in addition to one or both Browns-Ravens games as well as the Dec. 1 trip to Pittsburgh.
