Cleveland Cavaliers Head Coach Tyronn Lue decided to shake up his starting lineup prior to his team's game against the Phoenix Suns. Shooting guard JR Smith was demoted to the bench in favor of Kyle Korver.

Rodney Hood, who is not playing Tuesday night because of soreness in his lower back, will replace Korver in the lineup when healthy, Lue said.

Smith has shot just 39% from the field and 36.2% from deep this season, good enough for 8.3 points per night. The 32-year-old told ESPN's Dave McMenamin that Lue sent him a text on Monday to let Smith know of the decision. There was no further information given on Smith's role going forward.
