NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant made a comment on Monday night with Jimmy Kimmel about the Warriors mindset after Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

When asked about J.R. Smith's blunder at the end of regulation of Game 1 following George Hill's missed free throw, Durant said that Golden State had a good feeling the series was over.

"Yeah," Durant told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday. "We had a good feeling. We knew we hadn't played well. We knew we kind of broke them a little bit with that one."

Following that play with the game tied, the Warriors went on to beat the Cavaliers in overtime by ten points, and swept the series.

"I'm happy he made that decision to do that. Especially with the game on the line. We needed that win for the sweep."

LeBron James proceed to severly injured his hand after punching a whiteboard following the loss. James' didn't reveal that until after the Cavs' Game 4 loss.
