Former Cavaliers guard Isaiah Thomas apologized on Saturday for the shot he took at Cleveland on his social media account. He recently referred to the city as “a s---h---“ and said “I can see why LeBron left – again.”

Thomas posted a separate video apologizing for his comments and said, “Cleveland wasn’t that bad.”

"I shouldn't have said that. That was my fault. Cleveland was actually cool, it was all right. The situation just wasn't the best. I apologize for saying it was a s---h---. It wasn't a s---h---. The team was dope, the players was filthy. My guy Gio. Training staff was cold. Nah, Cleveland was cool. I shouldn't have said that, that was my bad. I was just talking on IG Live, I didn't think it was gonna get to where they're posting it. It's like damn, my bad."

Thomas was the focal point coming back to the Cavaliers in the Kyrie Irving trade last off-season, but he only played 15 games for the Cavaliers after spending several months recovering from a hip injury. He averaged 14.7 points per game and 4.5 assists per game with Cleveland before being dealt to the Lakers on February 8th.

Thomas signed a 1-year, minimum-salary contract with the Denver Nuggets on July 16, 2018.
