Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) - Free agent outfielder Michael Brantley was named the American League's Comeback Player of the Year as a part of the 2018 MLB Players Choice Awards for his season with the Cleveland Indians.

Brantley was limited to 101 games the over 2016 and 2017 in Cleveland, but in 2018, the Indians leftfielder played in 143 games and hit .309 with 17 homers and 76 runs batted in.

This past season is believed to be Brantley's last season with the Tribe as the free agent is expected to sign with another club this winter.
