CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) -- Ohio State faces a big test this weekend and will be without one of college football's best players.

Defensive end Nick Bosa has been ruled out for this Saturday's game at No. 9 Penn State.

"Nick is still not ready to go yet," Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said at his Monday press conference. "He's going to be out for a few weeks, but we do expect him back."

Bosa suffered a core muscle injury in the second half of the Buckeyes' 40-28 win over TCU on Sept. 15.

Last Saturday, Bosa did not play in Ohio State's 49-6 win over Tulane.

Through his first three games, Bosa totaled four sacks, six tackles for loss and 14 total tackles while also recovering a fumble for a touchdown and forcing a fumble resulting in a touchdown.
