Report: NBA All-Star Game coming to Cleveland

Official announcement could come on Thursday

Cleveland, OH - (92.3 The Fan) - There is a report that the NBA All-Star Game will soon be returning to Cleveland. Crain's Cleveland Business is reporting that the event will be coming to Quicken Loans Arena and the event may be in town by 2022. 

The last time the Q played host to the event was back in 1997.

The Q is currently undergoing at $185 million renovation which is being funded by the Cavaliers and should be completed prior to the start of the 2019-20 NBA season.

An official announcement from the NBA could come as soon as Thursday.

The 2019 Major League Baseball All-Star Game will take place at Progressive Field on July 9th.
