Tristan Thompson will miss 2-4 weeks with a sprained left foot.

Thompson injured his foot in Monday's 108-92 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. The good news, if there is any, is that there aren't any fractures. Thompson underwent an X-Ray and an MRI since suffering the injury.

Thompson, 27, is having a great season for the Cavaliers. He's averaging 12 points and 11.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 55 percent from the field.

Thompson passed John 'Hot Rod' Williams for fourth place on the Cavs all-time rebounding list in Saturday's win over Washington. He followed that up by scoring his 5,000th point in Monday's loss to Milwaukee.

The 6-21 Cavaliers play the first of three-straight home games on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. against the New York Knicks.
